Servo Motors

A servo motor unit is a rotary or linear actuator that allows precise control of angular or linear position, speed and acceleration. Festo servo motor is a closed- loop system that uses position feedback to control its movement and final position. The cycle of feedback, error detection and correction is called closed loop control. A type of encoder serves as a sensor providing speed control and position feedback. Servos maximum torque is limited by heating (due to the amount of current required to produce high torque)
